Someone with a few minutes on their hands and a newer Triglide. What is the widest wheel base and the widest point on the trike ? I am wondering if a Triglide will fit on the trailer I have for my sidecar rig. It may never happen but the middle of the night call from someone heading this way breaks down. Helped out a few bikes of the years but never a trike. Seems as people you have known for years are considering trikes now.

The factory specs for wheelbase says 65.7" For some reason I don't see that, never have. I have a 51" wide lift and the tires and fenders stick out a little on each side
On my 2020 from outside tire measurement left to right is 53" sidewall to sidewall and the fender is another 1" out or a total of 2". 53+2+ 55". No idea where they are getting the other foot from.
Seems HD stats changed via typo in 2014 saying 65.8"
Stats:
Overall width in 2010 = 54.3"
54.7"
54.7"
2014 over is 65.8"
2015 over all is 65.8"
and so on....

I had a 6x10 enclosed V- nose trailer. The narrowest part was where the ramp door cables attached to the door. I don't recall the width there but there was only about an inch & a half clearance on each side between those cables and the Tri's fenders. Had to be really carefull riding in & out of that one.
Traded that for a 7x12.
My 15 TG will fit in a 5.5 x10 open trailer , but it is tight. I have a 6x12 enclosed and I have plenty of room in side, but it is close between the cables on the ramp. a pair of pool noodles on the cables takes the pucker factor out backing down the ramp.
Thank you all for your reply's. It seems that the Trike is narrower than my twin classic rig so the trikes will fit . I just did not want to play a guessing game in the middle of the night it a call came..
In a prefect world it will never be needed , Going to stop by local dealer with it one of these days and load one on it .
