Well now I know that Ciro has charging phone mount. Go figure. I have always been a fan of Ciro products and always recommend them on line and off. I hated the Ram mount as it is just awkward and not user friendly plus the arms hit the volume control on the side of an iPhone. During my search, I found a q-mount holder with a charger and currantly using it. So far it is working as it should and very user friendly. I first thought the handlebar mount was plastic but it is aluminum and works well. I've put about 500 miles on it thru Tennessee and N. Carolina including the tail of the dragon and other rides in that area. No problems so far. If it fails on any account I will have a Ciro charger mount in no time.
my phone came out of my Ram X mount on a rail crossing
I suspect that you didn’t use the safety bands but rather just clamped the phone in.
I don’t use the safety bands either but you can’t fault a product if you don’t use it per the manufacturer’s instructions.
I have the QuadLock and charger. Awesome holding and vibration dampening+charging. Had it for a couple years now and 25000km.
Also have one with car mount for my older car.

Make sure you get the vibration damping mount… newer iPhones are susceptible to damage to the camera from high frequency vibration if you use a solid mount system.
I’ve got 5k on the Quad Lock system with no iPhone camera issues.

I tried that one but I returned it. I have Iphone13 and it would push the buttons on the side of phone the way it holds the phone. I bought a RAM with built in wireless charger holds phone top and bottom. I really like it.
Do the wireless chargers provide for Android auto connection on a 2021 Harley TriGlide?
I don't think so. My android auto works with my plain Jane ciro mount, but I have to wired to the USB port in the fairing pocket for charging and playing music on my phone in addition to Pandora via Bluetooth on my 2019 TG.
