I bought the CIRO mount I really like the way it holds the phone. Solid vibration proof mount.

I have the Ciro fairing mount for when I want my phone where I can use it for GPS or what ever. It holds the phone well and you can use a cord to charge while it is in the mount. As a disclaimer I don't use the mount much. I think Ciro now has a wireless charging mount. The mount still has to be plugged in but not the phone.

I have the Ciro perch mount phone holder and simply love it! The only thing I wish is that they would take the ball mount swivel and make it a little longer so I can pivot the phone a little more. It is not needed though.

I have the HD handlebar mount that uses the "ram type" ball mount, and the HD phone holder. The mount attaches to the left (or right) switch pack bolts. I liked the phone holder as it fit my galaxy 9 note, even in an otter box. However, I really didn't like having to move my eyes that far away from the road for long enough for that to be useful. In my case, my left eye is somewhat weaker than my right.

So this summer, I bought the ciro windshield/fairing mount. The ball is the same size, so my HD phone holder snapped on just fine. And it puts the phone up where I can see it and the road just fine. Makes it practical to use google maps for navigation (I only have the boom 4.3). The only drawback is that it does hide some of the speedo and tach. But not enough to be a deal breaker. I was originally worried about the phone bouncing, but it is surprisingly stable. The ciro mount is stronger than it looks.

hello, I have a question .., the support that comes with my mount 50317 is completely closed so no U shape? Do I have to adjust this myself? This seems very unlikely to me ... I would have liked some advice on this. Thank you, Dan

I'm not sure I understand your question about a "U shape". If you are talking about the "cradle" that holds the phone, then here is the HD part reference.

https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...ier/p/76000549

The ***** on the side turn threaded screws that make it wider/narrower as needed to hold the phone. When you have those adjusted correctly, the rubber pads inside the arms will grip the phone, but still allow you to still slide the phone in/out the top. I don't use it that often...but when I do I'm paranoid and still tighten it some after putting the phone in (I paid $1000 for that stupid phone).

As for the mount, I previously used this...

https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...unt/p/76000537

But I didn't like having to take my eyes that far off the road for long enough to actually do anything.

Here is a link to the Ciro mount that I use now. It works with the HD phone holder.

https://ciro3d.com/products/ciro%C2%...-fairing-mount

Ciro also has their own phone holder that uses a cam lever as a quick release. I'd think that would be easier to use than the screw ***** the HD holder uses. But in my case, I already had the HD mount. It fits securely onto the Ciro fairing mount, and holds the phone well enough that it wasn't worth it to buy another holder.

Ciro perch mount. . . . . Super adjustable so the phone is not interfering with controls, switches, etc. Visually it blends in with the controls when no phone is mounted.
If my phone were fancier I would use the wirless charging model, but the non charging one has never dropped my phone on me.
