Has anyone tried Jackpot mufflers onther trike. I am thinking about these and there head pipe?
I’m just thinking out loud here and could be completely wrong but I am of the opinion that the Jackpot muffler is an EPA friendly design and therefore more restrictive than a lot of the after market mufflers out there. By contrast the Jackpot head pipe is less restrictive and its stainless steel construction does not retain heat like the stock pipes do.
I love my Jackpot Head Pipes but it just strikes me that putting the two Jackpots (mufflers & pipes) together is somewhat of a contradiction. If you are changing head pipes for the purpose of reducing heat and opening the free flow of exhaust gas, than putting a restrictive muffler seems some what counter productive to me! I know that a lot of people use both and swear by them.
I have a set of V&H Oval slip-ons connected to my Jackpot Head Pipes and love both the performance and deep tone they deliver.

I have the Jackpot Dyno Tuned mufflers on my 2009 Tri-Glide. I got them in a combo deal from Fuelmoto along with the USB V fuel management system. I can highly recommend this business. I haven't had the trike out on a real trip yet, but I am really happy with the sound and the chrome is second to none. I have ridden it around town in 90 degree temps, and it doesn't seem to run as hot as it did with the stock setup. Here's the link to these mufflers. http://www.jackpotmufflers.com/dynotuned.htm

Just reading the description I think Fuelmoto spent a good amount of time coming up with a muffler that makes power. They also offer different baffles which are louder or quieter depending on what a person is looking for.
I have the Jackpot mufflers on my 09 also. I got the straight cut. They were a little to loud for my liking so I ordered their quiet baffle. Now the sound level is perfect. I would highly recommend them.
After talking with Brian at Fuelmoto, I ordered the jackpot headpipe (backordered) and mufflers. I'm not happy with the current sound of my SE II mufflers & well, ya gotta take the mufflers off to replace the headpipe anyway. I'm going to tune it with the TTS Mastertune & thanks to Mr Wizard's help, I'm anxious to get started (if my old knees will allow).
+1 I also ordered their 2-1-2 header and slip-ons after talking to Keith at Fuelmoto earlier today. Was not happy about the sound of my Rinehart slip-ons and rather than sell me on his slip-ons he suggested the various ways I could change the sound. First class!
Figured the Rineharts will get too loud for me after the CAT is out so I went ahead and ordered their slip-ons anyway along with the 2-1-2 - largely based on the very positive feedback I've heard thus far.

You certainly can't go wrong working with those folks. They are a class act.

Your right, the Rineharts will get louder once you switch to the Jackpot head pipe. I have the black 1 piece SE mufflers and wow what a difference in sound between the stock head pipe and the Jackpot, I wouldn't want it any louder.
