but seriously folks (yuk-yuk)...........

Let's get back to the first idea of changing the primary compensator sprocket. (I forget--was that 34 to 32 teeth??) Anyway, was that ruled out as an option? Would that create too much slop in the chain? My knowledge of physics stinks so would that smaller sprocket still make a speedo error? I would say the labor would be easier. But H-D opted for the transmission sprocket change. Hmmm, perplexing!

hay! SeaAlaskan the increase you states is with their 6 speed overdrive.
i have a rock groove in my drive belt & when i have that hange i will use the baker steel 30T pulley. late this fall
