Default Getting rid of the Cat

I finally got my Fuel Moto head pipe in. I had gotten the Air cleaner, mufflers and PCV in about 10 days ago, all Fuel Moto stuff. Headed to my Indy to have them installed tomorrow. I'm looking forward to getting that Cat out of there.

Yes, we were pulling the trailer.
I did however, before the rollback came for the trike remove the trailer hitch ( momma didn't raise no fool ) and just for extra we put the Bushtec around back of the cabin...sneaky little $hit, ain't I ??

I have a MC hitch and four bolts is all that's required to remove it, about 15 minutes work. Also use a plug jumper for the wire connection, so a quick unsnap and a reconnect of the factory plug and there's no evidence of a trailer being there. No sense in taking chances with HD warranty....

If you had a infrared thermometer it would be interesting to know temps before and after at various points.

Got the Fuel Moto system installed today and I have to say I am impressed. I did not wrap the pipes, and I don't think I will have to. I rode approx 50 miles home from the install ( took a round about route of local streets and Interstate) and never really felt bothered by the heat. Air temp was approximately 80, so there was heat potential. Another bonus with using the whole system along with the PCV is that the O2 sensors are no longer used...one less thing to go wrong.
There was a definite increase in power in all gears, feels like it is actually a 103. Since I have a 2011, I already have the 30 tooth gear, so 6th gear is very usable. The Trike has approx 2200 miles on it, I'm running Amzoil in engine and primary and Red Line Heavy Shock in the trans.
