I agree the TG could use some better mirrors and I may look into the split vision ones....but I was told a long time ago by a crusty old rider and it's stuck with me...
"Mirrors tell you where you CAN'T GO not where you CAN GO"
I still do a head check before changing lanes etc....
JFYI

I like the extra visibility also..
Yes Coupe; that is a Harley part number and the instructions included making the electrical hook-up.

Zoood, go to the Harley on-line parts catalog and plug in the part number; there are two good pictures of the running light/directional indicator mirrors.

Also look at my signature picture, there a "not-so-good" picture of my mirrors.

I like the idea of the fish eye mirrors. But looking at your photo, do the mirror stems cut thru your line-of-site or do you have to lean forward to see those fish-eyes? I've got the holes plugged but maybe I can install those little mirrors in the existing holes. Ya got a part number?
BTW, I've got the Kuryakyn long stems and they seem to have the same angle and reach as yours.

I put the little 1 1/4" convex mirrors that just stick on the stock mirrors (I got 'em at Wally world for less than 5 bucks for the pair). I CAN see my rear fenders as well as blindspots and other lanes. I also added the mirror extensions, a Harley part, for like 35 bucks and that lets me see more than my elbows.

I DO like the idea of the lighted turn signal mirrors if they extend out far enough to see around my fat self.

I also use small convex mirrors that stick to the stock mirrors. I got mine from Lowe's. I don't go to Wallyworld unless I just have to.
