hey all just wanted to say hello i just found this forum yesterday and then freeked out when i saw all the trouble i would be having, my wife and i started out with an 2003 suzuki vs 800 intruder with a lehman kit on it but it was a little small for us so we graduated to an 09 apex vw trike built in arizona with a 1915 cc in it, it was the third one off of their line and we had a few bugs to work out of it and it is a blast to drive but we like to make some trips to the U P from the cadillac area in michigan and would rather ride then wrench when up there. So we really wernt looking to buy a third trike but seen a couple deals (or so we thought ) on a couple of tri glides and ended up getting a brand new 2010 ultra classic tri glide or as our friends call it the geezer glide!!! we picked it up for 27,400 and hope that was a good price after reading about all the troubles. So i havent sold the other 2 trikes yet but the garage is getting kind of full so something has to go but will prob keep the harley. anyways thanks for all the info.
Welcome, $27,400 for a new 2010 Ultra is a pretty decent buy. Once you fix some of Harley's mistakes the Triglide is a great ride, you may also be happy with it the way it is.
Welcome to the forum. With a few changes if wanted you will love the way it
rides on the long hauls. Ride it for a few thousand miles and see what you think.
Hello and welcome to the forum. Im just south of *******. Dont freak out with the mods we have been making on the TG, a lot of people are happy with them the way they are. You have the '11 so already have the 30 tooth primary pulley which gives the tri better low end gearing and a more usable 6th gear. The heat mods are a big plus for rider comfort along with reducing engine and oil temps which tend to run a bit high stock. The rest are some performance mods that wake the 103" motor up. What you decide to do will be up to you. Read the posts and start asking questions on what you dont understand, we will all help you out where we can.
Welcome. Not everyone has all these troubles reported. Mine and others have been great. I guess we should rename this forum Tri Glide Complaints! You can find great information here and spend lots of money!
Welcome and congratulations on your purchase of the 2010 TG. It is a fantastic riding and handling trike, it has its issues just like anything else that you buy. Nothing is perfect. I don't consider this forum a forum of complaints but rather a forum of issues that folks are looking for resuloutions and there are many knowledgeable folks on this forum that can help you. More folks are more demanding of their very expensive toys that they buy. I hope you keep the TG and I am sure you will be happy with it.
If you are having issues the best place to find the resolution is where there are many folks riding the same thing that you are.Possibly they already have the fix.

Welcome aboard to the forum and congratulations on your purchase. There is a weatlth of information here and the members are top notch. Everyone helps everyone with questions and ideas. At the price you paid you have a little room to do the mods many of us have done or are doing to improve power and run cooler if you find the neeed to do so.
My 2011 was just under $32K out the door. That included some accessories, labor to install those accesories, the R&R of my exhaust system and SE A/C install (Stage 1), that's in progress.
Welcome to the forum....that's a great price on a new 2010 TG...I paid way more for mine....
The issues or problems are not major problems, just things we like to complain about and then fix....it's just a Harley thing
Ours is still mostly stock, we road it to Montana and back in stock form...could have used a little more power and been a little cooler...but that didn't stop us from having a great time...
Sometime ya have to read between the lines....if you're new to Harley's...most HD riders can't leave anything alone...we have to make them ours...
