Loved my '05 Road Glide but my knees and short legs just couldn't hold up 900 lbs. anymore!

Doesn't matter what you ride, just that you ride... right

I think I've posted this here before. Seems appropriate about now.

There's you and your bike combined with the open road and the deafening silence that loud pipes cannot penetrate or disturb. There are others and their bikes combined with the alike. Blend the two and you have a mixture of friendships where there are no speed limits; where understanding is bountiful; and the bonds can be stronger than Mother Nature herself. You can twist the throttle but you can’t outrun yourself or your friends and how they understand and accept you as an individual. There are no requirements, no limitations, no test except one: live to talk about your last ride.

Live Free, Ride Hard and Live to Ride Again.

Wink 2 wheels & 3wheels

I bought a 2010 triglide ultra a year ago after a bad wreck on a big vulcan v-twin. A week later I went and bought a 900 vulcan custom, and put 12% overdrive Scootworks sprockets, V&H staggered slash pipes, a TFI fuel manager, and stebel horn on it, along with a mini minnesota fats cafe windshield. Since April 2010, I have put 7600 mi on the trike, and 3500 mi on OO(Orange Orgasm). I almost have the best of both worlds. My son is customizing a 2001 road king for me. I rode it about 130 miles a month ago (16" apehangers), and find it to be a very nimble bike. I will be 72 in June. Life goes on until it doesn't.

Peace

I have never read a more resonant description of what it means to ride. Thank you for sharing it.
