Was able to swing a deal with my local Harley dealer to get a Heritage like I really like, trade in the TriGlide and a pretty sizable check. The TriGlide was great, it was just not for me.
I have enjoyed the last couple of years reading and "hearing" various opinions. A special thank you to Mr. Wizard. Dave has helped me when ever I had a question, no matter how what it was.
Another big thank you to RJ. The cutom skirts as well as the stainless steel rear wheel discs made my X TriGlide really stand out. Thanks RJ.
I have a 2000 Heritage that I bought new that I will probably never sell eventhough I bought a Tri Glide I just can't part with the Heritage as it is the best all around bike in my opinion, it is big enough for any road trip yet it is nimble enough for town use. The Tri Glide has a safety factor that you cant beat, I always worried about dumping my E-Glide 2000 miles from home which could be a big problem. Good luck with the Heritage you'll love it.
I envy you! I really love my Tri Glide and I accept the fact that I can no longer ride two wheels safely. The Heritage is a great bike and a very comfortable ride and I know you will have a great time on it. Congratulations!

Yup, that's me, no worries John... I'm only right half of the time when I'm not wrong. (yes, its ok to read that line a few times)
Saw a pic of his Heritage... bike is very sweet, needs TTS... LOL
My mind said Heritage, by busted up pinned together frame said Tri Glide! I would still rather be on a Heritage but the little woman has grown kinda fond of the Tri.

Its fun riding 2 wheels but when I'm bolting on some serious miles I'd rather be riding the Triglide, much more comfortable.

I really liked my 06 Ultra but I have grown very fond of my TG. I know my wife really loves it and the comfort it brings.
