I bought the wife a Fatboy back in December of 2010 so we could go riding after I retire: which by the way is official in about 1 hour and 10 minutes..... anyway....after taking the safety course she only logged about 40 miles in the last 18 months. Did good on the road but parking lots were her downfall......after dropping it a couple of times she was just not confident to continue on it...Looked at a 2010 Triglide Thursday and she even drove it with me on the back...Finally saw her happy about being in the wind.....So Friday i traded the Fatboy in on the Triglide Red Hot Sunglow......Just got back from riding and It may be hard to keep her at home now.........

Near same story for me, except the wife has been riding for 15 years and has logged over 100,000 miles. She just has a bad knee that kept getting worse until she could no longer handle two wheels when slow or stopped. After dropping the Streetglide a few times and hurting herself pretty bad once, we went with a Tri. She says that she still prefers 2 wheels, but she is happy and confident with the extra wheel.

Enjoy, my wife doesn't mind being the passenger but LOVES riding ours. She is already talking about me getting another two wheeler so she can have it all the time. Mission may come together one day after all.
