Here's the problem. Mycntryhrt... I'll answer your email here as well.

The guy is a Dealer. He is looking out for his customer and is not educated about the ClutchWIZ. There's nothing wrong with that. It isn't an issue with the fit.

There are two things the ClutchWIZ does very well.

1. It helps those who need assistance who do not have the grip strength to pull a clutch lever.

2. It helps those who want to beef up their clutch assembly and spring when modifying their bike to have more power.

There is no need to have a Dealer install the CW. The average time for install is 15 minutes if you have the correct tools. If you are not tool handy then a friend or another shop can install it for you. See the web site for the CW.

I installed the Clutch Wiz and it was money well spent. The difference is unbeleivable I think it would solve your problem. Good luck.

Well, I ordered one yesterday. I was at a HD dealership yesterday. A mechanic that I spoke with didn't know about the ClutchWIZ. He did a google search and read about it. He agreed that it looked good, looked like it would work, couldn't call BS on any of the text, and said HD had nothing like it. I ordered one when I got home. With trigger finger on both ring and middle fingers on my left hand, I'm looking for help, surgery didn't do any good.
Ride on.

The only thing to worry about is how hot your motor mods are. The stock clutch is already weak, adding more torque with mods will only create further stock issues and cause the clutch to slip when riding aggressively.

If you mod your motor then install the AIM 480 spring. Your pull will still be less than stock and you will save your stock clutch bands.

+1 I agree 100% with Wiz. Something all of are seeing come to light as more people have issues with the stock clutch with very little mileage on it. Totting around that heavy trike leaves it to be not a matter of if the clutch will fail, just a matter of when. A heavier spring will go a long ways towards saving the clutch.

Wife was having no problems with clutch slippage in her TG after the ClutchWiz install but I needed a heavier spring in my RK as it was slipping so I got the SE spring And thought what the heck , ill put the SE in the TG and the pink dot TG spring in my RK.
Both work great and with theClutch Wiz the pull is still easy.

I'm coming up to my 1000 mi and I'm going to install the SE Clutch Spring when I change all the fluids. I pulled a trailer last weekend and noticed the clutch was a bit weak. I wait until I've installed the new spring to decide if I need a clutchwiz. My 2011 had the SE Clutch Spring and albeit a harder pull I was able to handle it.

I would like to suggest to drop the idea of the SE spring. After researching the pull resistance with dozens of springs on different models I found the clutch pull with the SE is greater than that of the AIM 480 spring.

The AIM 480 spring will give you more down force to your clutch pack by 100 pounds avoiding any slippage issues when aggressively riding.

SE Spring = 380 static plate pressure
AIM 480 Spring = 480 static plate pressure

SE Spring = 19 pounds of static pressure @ 1" from the grip
AIM 480 Spring = 17 pounds of static pressure @ 1" from the grip

SE Spring w/ ClutchWIZ = 14 pounds of static pressure @ 1" from the grip
AIM 480 Spring = 12 pounds of static pressure @ 1" from the grip

Thanks Mr. Wizard, all I have is bling. No engine mods. Stock a/c but tri-oval mufflers, no stage 1. If it goes ok stock, I'll leave her that way. If I can't see it, it aint there. I am now officially OLD.
Ride on.
