Hopefully picking up my new Triglide this weekend depending on the weather, it'll be the first ride on anything since my accident August 4th, really excited and a little nervous to be honest!
I'm calling the dealer later today to have them get it ready to go, besides the service manual, anything else I need right away? I know there's a pump for the shocks, anyone got a part number handy? Other reccomended accessories? Exhaust and tuner etc I'm going aftermarket...
Already have the lift kit, I'll be installing that ASAP, floorboard spacers I'll probobly order later today.
I'm up in the air on the luggage rack for the trunk, anyone really use it? Seems there would be enough storage in the tour pack and trunk, which coming off a Night Train, I wont know what to do with all the room LOL

.............congrats on the trike....I have 09 t/g for almost four years now....take it easy at first....seems strange......after a while it will be real good.....on the tour pack rack...get it....I use it on long distance rides....works great....I can't imagine being with out it......I have the lift kit......if you don't have the lift installed yet....ride it for a while....and when you change or lift the trike...you will really appreciate the difference......enjoy....

Congrats on your new ride!!!
One of the first things I did was the floorboard spacers...they really make a difference, and you don't have to worry about them scraping.
pump is # 54630-03a
We have a rack on our tour-pak, it does not get used much on a daily basis, but on trips we do use it.
Ryan, Congrats!! Hopefully mother nature will at least give you some time this weekend to put a few miles on her. She will treat you just fine!! Keep your feet on the boards and get ready to answer a ton of questions while at lights and stop signs as well as gas stations and watering holes.Once you get the hang of it,you will really enjoy the twisties as well.Watch that wide rear at the pumps.Dont forget to not hit the brakes while using reverse.Enjoy Brother!!
P.S You WILL utilize "all that space" at one time or another! get the luggage rack!
Hey Ryan, its been a long time since Aug 4, your ready now. Ride it in a parking lot first, get the push pull thing down then you'll be ready to take off. Get the feel of those brakes, that beast is heavy. She's going to be very quiet! Enjoy your ride home, don't try to stop it with your feet, I know that your legs are still very tender. Have fun, and you wll not be able to wipe that smile off your face until this weekend.
