Could you pre order 2 please . You know I'm in all the way.

Is this cam just for the 103 engine? My TG just got rebuilt as a S&S 106, and it needs a good cam for the trike.

I finished yesterday so here's a short update...

The cams came in Saturday so I took the bike apart after I did a baseline data recording. This is what I started with. Both pulls were in 3rd gear. I don't have a dyno and I don't risk doing 100 on side streets so 3rd is all ya get.

2012 TG Stage II 103 Air Cooled. SE 254E cams, Fullsac X 2-1-2 head pipe, Fullsac 2.0 cores in CVO 4" muffler cans and the S&S AC with the TTS tuner. That's all my trike has. 86.6 / 105.5

Remember this is NOT a stock baseline as that would be much lower. This is with the 254E cams. There is not a setting for a TG on the TTS Dyno graph so I used the settings for an Ultra, changed the weight to 1200 pounds and added 200 for the rider. Remember this is a baseline for comparison only but the numbers will be very close.

The below chart is with the new cams and two hours of road dyno time. I haven't been able to do any timing at all. Don't just stare at the curve. Look at where the numbers are and do a comparison of my baseline and the new cam.

Take a look where I snapped the throttle open. It was at 1350 RPM's. No that wasn't a typo. These new cams are torque monsters. I could easily ride and pull hills in 6th gear at 1500 RPM's at 50 MPH. I'm not talking about small hills, hills where I had to put 100 kPa... half or more throttle to the motor and she didn't buck or spit. The motor just kept pulling and pulling.

Secret R&D Cam on my trike is at 91 / 118

COLD CCP = 185/180 (Both spark plugs out, system relay pulled to turn off ACR)

I'm still not at liberty to say who made them but there are six more of these in the hands of independents and HD dealer motor builders. My trike was the first one on the road being tuned and was the first to be completed.

All this information is about a Trike. These cams will show a completely different curve on a water cooled and the new 103 air cooled HD and a 110.

IF everyone finishes their work and reports back in positive results then the cams will be made available to the public in both gear and chain drive. I have no clue as to the price range but personally I would give $500 or more for these in chain drive. Everyone knows gear drive is several hundred more.

The manufacture was more concerned what I felt while riding. What the Butt-O-Meter had to say. Well... I haven't been on the trike and these new cams for more than a hour or so but I'll tell you guys what I told them.

5th and 6th gear are more usable now on the hwy. 6th doesn't stall out it just keeps pulling. I can snap the throttle in 3rd on damp asphalt and the rear end will break loose. 4th is very perky as well. Pulled the front wheel in 2nd but I have a bullet proof clutch as most of you guys know. 1st gear throttle snap at 2000 RPM's on my driveway showed the back end breaking free.

That's all I have for now. I know it's a teaser but I'm seriously held in confidence here. When the time is right I'll spill my guts about who and why.

Very interested in seeing that cam. Don't have a trike but it sounds like it will really work great for my 2012 FLHTK 103, FullSac DX pipe, CVO cans with 2.25 cores, SE ventilator A/C. Been doing a lot of cam searching and reading, can't wait to read about this one.!

Well Wiz, that is enough for me to hold off on the basic mods and tuning on my new trike until this cam is available and then do it all at once. Waiting for more and holding my breath.....besides, it's cold and about to snow and they are salting the roads...
