i'm think about putting a s & s 100" big bore kit on my 06 RK ( with head work also )
has anyone had issues with the motor over heating in the summer time ( texas heat [ houston })
also doing cams 585 and exhaust ?
+1 on the tune but if the OP doesn't have an oil cooler, he needs to get one. Summers in Texas can see 100*+ temps and getting trapped by road work, wreck, etc. and any air cooled vtwin, regardless of displacement can over heat. I know guys that run two oil coolers. One of the coolers that incorporates fan cooling of the heads would be a wise investment IMHO.
I'd have the bottom end addressed on my 2005 if I were to bump displacement.

hello from germany.i live in germany berlin and have now started the 3rd conversion. I have the tc88 from 2006. I bought the s+s 89cc cylinder heads and the 100cc Sidewinder 4 s+s cylinders and the 585 camshaft. I have converted to carburetor s + s Super G from 93kubikzol. here in Germany no one builds on carburetors anymore. what do you think my setup can work? in addition there is the ignition module from Altmann.
