Remember this bike uses ion sensing, not an actual knock sensor.

meaning you need certain plugs for it to read accurately I’m guessing right?

Yes, plugs and wires must be correct for the system to work properly

so plugs were replaced with Harley plugs and wires seem to be good but still having the same issue. By looking at the plugs and my head pipes I’m starting to think it’s leaning out causing the knock events.

Look at RPM TPS and MAP values just before the knock event is logged maybe add 10 points the the cells in the VE tables and see if that affects your knock counts, if it doesn't then pull some timing in that same area, when the knock events occur how many degrees are being pulled?

So I’ve been told this exact thing more than once but for the life of me I cannot find a VE table? Or where to adjust timing? Haha not sure if I’m just illiterate with the dynojet stuff or what but all I’ve found the afr request table I think a couple people have said, but I ended up doing this same thing with that table and added a little bit of fuel in that block I was having knocks and went for a ride and I didn’t count a single knock lol

It's not he proper way to tune it but you solved your problem

With the PV 4 are you using C3 or WinPV to look at your tables? With C3 they have that token purchase scam to unlock your tables and that may be why you can't see them

It is a SCAM the way Dynojet has gone to that token thing to unlock all kinds of features that used to come free with the original Powervision.
Its not just that you have to pay for the upgrade to access these tuning features but they (Dynojet) also set it up so that this access is only good for a year before you have to upgrade again, and again, and again. This is the gift that keeps on giving for the money grubbing SCAMMERS at Dynojet

yeah im using c3 I guess that’s why I can’t see the proper tables, maybe I’ll just buy tokens to have access to the proper table and make the adjustments there instead, it did seem to fix the issue though lol

Now here’s my issue, after doing the cams and pushrods and bearings I bought a power vision tuner and got a tune from dynojet for the parts I have installed, bike idles and runs awesome no complaints at all but with the live data on the PV I notice when accelerating hard/putting some load on the engine it’ll start to count knock events. I personally don’t hear pings or knocks while riding but the pv counts them. The plugs are new and gapped and I only run 91 in the bike. I’m looking for thoughts on what might be the cause of the knocks or advice. I know a dyno tune would be my best of the best bet but I’m about as north are you can get in Ontario on a main highway and there’s no dunks near me lol thanks in advance
How is it counting them 06 doesnt have knock sensor does it ,seems would have to use ion sensing , so then plug types matter and wires , im just wondering how it knows
