Has this been verified? I can’t find any other sources.

I saw another video on the same channel that seemed to be a bunch of BS. OTOH, I haven't really paid much attention to Harley corporate stuff.

Calling bullshit, states and dealer association's nationwide have been **** blocking and raising 6 kinds of hell over Tesla doing the same thing. No way Harley is side stepping the boutique dealer base they have manufactured. If they do get away with it quality service and handling the inevitable warranty issues will be a serious problem at what dealers will be available, most will close shop.

Well it is not legal in most states for car companies Likely applies to Harley. .
Also at 27 seconds they show a Street HD Dropped that bike a while back. Other screen shots just come from other HD ads.

Sounds as though they are planning to follow the same DTC business model used by Tesla...
Doesn't seem like the right idea to me, but WTF do I know?

This has to be a spoof. Nobody is stupid enough to propose a direct to consumer model of distribution (and service?). And then tout the electric motorcycle, which is a total fiasco. This reminds me of Babylon Bee being quoted as serious news stories.
But, I could be wrong.

This story is Bull#$%@. So let me get this straight, you can't buy parts on line from an out of territory dealer, but you can buy a motorcycle without a dealer altogether. Sure, OK. The narrator probably works for Indian!

Interesting concept.. Probably due to the dealers not want to floor electric bikes, the smaller twins and dual sports.

I'm skeptical of this claim.

I can't find it anywhere else. Not on Harley's page, not in the news. Nowhere but this one video.
