Default Runing without mufflers

With a fuel management system, can you safely run without the mufflers and perhaps put angled tips where the mufflers go for looks? How loud would it be?

Yes, and VERY LOUD. Only concern would be cold air blowing up the exhaust pipe (only the front with stock headpipes) and warping the exhaust valve. There would have to be a number of things that would have tocoincide (right temp-both bike and air, rightdirection ofwind, no angled tips, right wind speed, exhaust valve open, etc)for this to even be a concern, it's not very realistic.

You would most likely lose HP. The samson exhuast systems, without baffles, are just straight pipes. The best performance and sound are normally "two into one" systems like CFR and a host of others. Dollar wise, best sound and performance, I think is the self mod inner baffle removal.
