My friend is headed to a test and tune at a local drag strip this weekend with his Mustang. He asked if I wanted to go along. Well me being a racer can't go to the track without racing....I talked to the guy in charge to find out what the rules are for runningbikes. I have everything I need aside from a kill switch that attaches to the rider. That being said, is there a kill switch available from HD for this application? Or could I wire one from say a motocross bike in place of the existing switch temporarily for use at the track?

Does the track you're going to require a kill switch for a 10 second plus bike? Unless you have some extensive mods that you have not let on about you're not going to dip into the 9s and most (all?) tracks will not require a kill switch. Ask your track if there is a time break for kill switches or if it's required on all bikes.

I thought that as well but it is a requirement on all bikes. The onlydifference required of bikes faster than 9s is full race leather.
edit: no extensive mods here just some removed baffles, K&N filter, and a pcIII. First time heading to the strip not expecting much just want to give it try.
