Just glad it’s not engine trouble.
Was coming back from the VA in Tomah when this happened twice in about a mile:
I felt a loss of power, then a loud chirp/bang, then regular power.
after the 2nd event the rest of the ride to Marshfield was normal. Just found out why:

At first I really thought there was a major engine malfunction. Realky glad that’s not it, and that the bracket didn’t cause any major damage upon its departure. I’ve got a new bracket on order and put in for a collector plate as I already have a collector plate on the sportster.
