Hello, newb here. My battery went dead on me (one of the kids unplugged the trickle charger) and the alarm was armed at the time...
I replaced the battery with a new one and now the alarm won't disarm.. Every time I turn the key, it just goes off. I can arm the system with the fob, but it won't disarm. Very annoying. I never set up the personal code to disarm the system that way..
I read through the owners manual in several sections, but can't seem to find anything to help me there.
1. Set run switch to off
2. ign to acc
3. hold both turn sigs till lights flash
4. use left turn signal to enter number by pushing 7 times
5. use right turn signal as enter key
6. repeat until all 5 are entered and you hit enter

Anyone have any ideas to try?
I had the same problem. The new battery needs to be charge fully and the problem will go away.
