The v-rod is also my first bike its a vrscb with only 2000 miles on the clock. I've only been riding for about a year and am really enjoying the bike. A lot of friends thought i was mad for buying this as a first bike but as long as you give it respect and remember this aint no toy,you should be fine. The bike is as original from dealer but is going in this week to get screamin eagle pipes, fuel pack and filter .Hope it then sounds like a harley.Anyway good luck for the future ,enjoy the bike and the envious looks.
