When I hit the run switch my diagnostic light comes on and I wait till it goes away (a few seconds) then I start it. Recently i noticed that just after starting it the engine diagnostic light came back on for a few seconds then went back off and stayed off. Now that I noticed \\;that if \\;I hit the run switch, wait for the light to go off then wait a couple of seconds \\; it will come on again without starting it. It almost looks light it is getting ready twice. It always comes on 2 times never more never less. Is this a known problem?
You have a stored trouble code that is not currently affecting the engine. It's not a problem.
 \\;
Did you remove the airbox lid (plastic part) \\;and disconnect the sensor?
 \\;
No, this is just what I did the first time I got the engine diagnostic flash. I have heard of this happening afterwards a great deal from other people as well.
