I've gone to the dealers that are close to were I live and I've wanted to see and ride a new V-Rod. The two dealers did not have any new used or what ever. What gives?

 

I don't think the dealers are taking delivery of many because they are not big sellers. Dealers around Columbus are limited too.

 

I'm not sure which IL dealer, but there is one around Indy that keeps complaining he can't get enough V-rods.

 

My local dealer here has all the new models in stock. They do not sell fast, but they do sell.

 

I went to the dealer in Palatine 1st and I will give them a brake since they just took over the dealership and the 09's just came out. But I've gone the the worlds worse dealership in Libertyville twice, none both times. I kick myself after evertime I go there.

 

Then don't go there, unless you just like the butt kickin' you get. Isn't there some sort of bike locator on the H-D website? I seem to remember messing with it before we discovered the V-rod.

 

Yep but my mother in law gave me a gift card from there so as soon as I get that used up I'll stop. I just want to see and ride the new muscle. As Paris said That's Hot!

 

Should be able to find out from the HD shop who has them. IE When I was searching for one, I called Capital City HD in Madison, they didn't have one, but gave me the numbers and names of 4 shops that did. I called around those 4 shops, plus a fifth out in North Platte, NE and came up with a nice a deal on an 08.
