This is a tragic reminder to always be aware of what's going on around you. ALWAYS watch your mirrors and have an escape route at every stop light.

Very tragic. Hard to avoid a garbage truck from behind at a stop even if you see it coming.

Actually, he was sorting through paperwork. 8 bikes and three cars.

If we still lived there, my wife and I would have been on our bike and our son on his bike. They put the stop light there to save lives before that intersection got dangerous.
