I tell people that if I wanted to go fast, I'd have bought a 'Busa. But same with the Vrod - I'd have every cop in Acworth looking for me. Instead, they WAVE at me!

There is a cop in Carrollton that I litterally "high five" nearly every morning as I ride by. They direct traffic to the school, which is a left turn where I make right to go to work. The police that usually do it are the bicycle cops.
I'm not even sure how or why we started doing it.

"a cop in Carrollton"....... hmmm, I wondered... would that be maybe a town or street in Arizona (from the az desert rat hint) or maybe Carrollton street in New Orleans or maybe Carrollton Texas or Carrollton Georgia.
Aha, then I noticed the "Jawja" in your sig location tag. Georgia.
And I used to think when I saw your location tag that you were a Star Wars fan, referencing a Jawa in a desert location on Tatooine
Careful around Carrolltown. I've gotten some STUPID tickets there from illegal speed traps at night. Those cops are NOT easygoing.
And that was on the big road, 61! One hid just over the top of a hill; when asked why we couldn't see him, he's like, "You didn't look" - I coulda punched him, but I'm not that steupid.
