What is your solution to deflect wind without having some large shield?
On my '06 R things are just fine up to about 75. Once over that speed the wind becomes pretty rough and at 95+ it is severe. I always ride with a full face and would like some small something to deflect the wind just a little at higher speeds.
Of course the problem is not a problem if I only ride at 75 and below (yeah right). That is like years ago I owned a 1987 Porsche 911. Got stopped by a cop for speeding and he said "you were going a little fast weren't you?" My reply was, "officer, if you had a car like this would you drive it slow?" He replied "absolutely not" and then proceeded to write me a ticket.
So, I would like to resolve my problem in some way other than riding at 70mph.
My brother has a 03 V Rod and he has a little wind shield on it but it doesnt do much. It keeps some wind off his face but it mostly keeps less wind from hitting your chest that way you dont feel like you are going to blow off your bike. I havent rode it much at highway speeds or faster to see how much it helps at higher speeds. I will give you an update when I find out. and when it finely gets warmer to do some more riding here. I swear winter is determined to stay in wisconsin all year long.
