went and picked my dad up today and went to the local stealer to look at bikes we both been suffering from cabin fever. they had two night rod specials setting on the floor and I had to climb on one and waller it around . pretty cool they had a vivid black and a denium black those are some sharp scooters . I think if I was going to ride one I would put some pull back risers for a little less of the clam shell riding position but everything else felt good. But this isnt a good time of the year for construction work and I dont have one job to bid so I suppose2 bikes in the garage will do for now. for those that have the night rod special you are some lucky dogs . enjoy your ride.

Couple of us here have the Night Rod Specials on order. It isn't often one finds them on the floor. They're often pre-sold in advance. Mine's due in 2-3 weeks. Gonna give the reach to the bars a chance. I'm 6'4" and think I'll be fine with it. I'm used to lean forward and reach sport bikes. I've placed around here before, this outstanding marketing photo from H-D...

There's a good comparison article in the Feb CYCLE WORLD mag. Compares the VRSC Night Rod, Suzuki M109R and Victory's Hammer S. I'll give you the very last line of the article, and you can guess which bike they are talking about... "Add it all up and that's why it would be the power-cruiser parked in our garage."
