night rod special rumors
i've heard rumors from dealers in my area that '07 is the only year for the night rod special! i couldn't believe this and had to come here to see if this is possibly the truth.
i've been looking for one for the past few months, looking to buy in 3-6months, but it looks like that might not happen if i can't even get my hands on one by then.
any comments on this?

Haven't heard that either but wouldn't mind if it was true for those able to get one this year. However, given the way it is selling I'm sure H-D has some kind of plans for continuing it or doing something similar.
FWIW, if you want one, contact dealers and they will help. Also, the 1130cc.com forum has a Night Rod/Special area and members there often post seen Specials on the floor at dealers.

You'll be able to find one. You might have to have your dealer do a search but as popular as these are there are still parts of the country where the V Rods just don't sell. I think it's a beautiful bike. I'd love to have one. It wouldn't surprise me if the MoCo only ran it for one year but you can bet they'll come out with something to match it next year.

IMO that would be stupid. That is the best VRod - ever. May as well drop the NiteTrain, StreetBob, and RK Classic.
