I can't help you specifically with the CFR on a V-Rod, but as far as 2-1 pipes go, I had the Vance & Hines 2-1 Competition pipes on my V-Rod Muscle, and I loved it. You did feel quite a bit of heat on the right leg, and after I extended my foot pegs, I don't know how many times I singed my right calf on that pipe.
