Hey there....ever out this way let me know, I have room for overnighters and garage too!
Just picked up a 2009 Softail Deluxe and first thing it needs are some bags to put my jacket, extra gloves etc in. Looking for comments and recommendations for that.
I know there's a wealth of information and some extremely friendly and knowledgeable people here and I'll post a few questions as I go along.
Paid $13,400 for this 09 with 2,300 miles...I've added grips and mirrors so far.
Keep me in mind if you get to the red rocks of Sedona, beer in fridge no old lady to bother us, fire pit and we can smoke cigars outside all night long!
Ride safe my friends.
Clary
Suggestions for bags? Want to stay with nostalgia look (I do have the windshield for it).
BTW I'm sticking with stock exhausts....I actually like the sound (so do my neighbors). I do get a cramp in my left hip socket...may need to add some highway pegs? Or change the seat? I'm 5' 10"
I also added the visors over lights. Thoughts on adjusting them, they seem to blind people from behind at night.....maybe the running lights are shining too high? Looking for some chrome controls and chrome the lowers on from end....
Thoughts on keeping stock air intake?

First of all, Welcome to the HD Forums from Idaho ! ENJOY !
You will get the best response from the main forums instead of the new members area.
I used to live in Flag & spent a lot of time in Sedona in the Oak Creek swimming! Used to spend a lot of time at Slide Rock watching the girls wear out their pants on the rocks ! That was while it was still free ! Around '61/62.
Enjoy the Forums !
Ride Safe my friend !
