New 99 FXDX in San Diego
Hi all.
Picked up a 99 Dyna FXDX Superglide Sport.
Located in San Diego.
Had a 79 Ironhead that was on a rigid frame and reliable for 5 miles..maybe
New bike is real clean with 25k miles. Got every service record and receipt from seller.
Need to switch up a few things to get it where I want. Previous owner moved to forward controls and I am going to get it back to mid controls. Original shift linkage was removed, so looks like the inner primary has to come off to re-install mids. Will need to get my hands on a complete package of OEM mids anyone holding?? I'm all over ebay and craigslist checking for a deal.
Also going to pull a few shiny items and get them back to stock (dash panel, all pegs and maybe air cleaner cover).
Otherwise plan to get some miles in and enjoy the ride.
Here is how the bike was setup at purchase.
