Hi all, I'm new here as a HD owner, I haven't ridden bikes for 10+ years but just purchased my first HD, a blue Sportster XL1200X forty-eight.. I've purchased it in an auction in the US (Cincinnati) and it's being shipped to me soon and I'm very excited..
So, as for mods.. I'm going to put the pillion pad on the back to keep my g/f happy, I'm fitting flat bars (and revert the mirrors back to below the bars), L&V shorty shorts and the Screamin’ eagle heavy breather performance air cleaner kit in gloss black...
But I one question.. whilst I'm not a huge fan of saddlebags, I've seen some that fit on one side cut at an angle... however the official Harley ones state you have to remove the pillion pegs....Does anyone know of any quick release single sided bags that fit the 48 and allow me to carry a passenger?
