Hey all, just wanted to say hello and introduce myself........
My name is Lou and I have been riding since I was around 10 years old thanks to an Uncle who got me into motorcycles and Muscle cars. Anyway as of this moment I have a 250 wide tire Ultra Softail frame I am in the beginning process of building with a 7 gallon stretch tank and chrome wideglide dual disc front end and I also have a custom built Sporty using its original frame and keeping all the numbers matching. She was an original 883 I bought almost 13 years ago from a friend in need of selling it and figured I could toy around with it. Well she is now bolted up and machined beyond a 1200 with ported and polished heads with over sized valves, 500/222 cams, and Wiseco pistons and a lot of goodies like that. I had her running one time with a twin bottle nitrous setup and stripped making her light as heck and she was fast. Once the craze hit the calming, I removed the nitrous, rebuilt the entire motor and 5-speed trans, traded the pee tank for a king tank and it didn't seem fitting, so broke the bank and went all out on her with the looks as well and we have been a team ever since. I have had bikes all my life but she has given me some of the most serious enjoyment and remaining reliable through it all. I did a lot attributes to her like chromed and diamond chipped fat boy rims, Chrome wide glide front end, forward controls, extended/widened and chromed swing arm , etc. Just way too to much work and mods too list......... Well thanks for reading and I look forward to becoming part of the community on here as the site and the people seem quite welcoming. I posted some pics below of my bar hopper... lol
Cheers,
~Lou
