Good Vibrations from Ca
Hello to everyone! My name is Michelle I just got my first STD, I mean FXSTD, Softail Deuce 2001 with only 1300 miles, now it has 2300 miles. It was built by Moreland Choppers in Solana Beach, it was built for a celebrity's collection. So it sat for 14 years in room with mirrors and lights. Thank goodness he decided to sell, the guy I bought it from was the one who put the 1300 miles on it. He wanted to by an RV thus my luck. Stock chassis, Pat Kennedy adjustable front end, paint by Norton Custom Designs in SD with real gold leaf, air shocks, I could go on and on cause i'm so damn excited to own this beauty. I rode dirt bikes as a kid and I'm getting better everyday, feeling more comfortable turning. I've changed my intake gaskets, float bowl gasket, new grips and levers and changed my fluids. I've had some difficulties probably due to inexperience but I dive right in and I try to research as much as possible. Haven't got it back to perfect before I started messing with it. I'm learning. I know I will definitely benefit from all the knowledgeable and experienced members of the site and welcome all constructive criticism and positive information. Please excuse any of my ignorances as I said unlike most I don't know it all. LOL I love this bike and so do most who see it. I'm thrilled can you tell. Anyways hello to all
