Hey,
I am a new Harley owner. I actually used to own a few crotch rockets, before I decided to shift towards the cruisers. I am the proud owner of a new to me 2006 FLSTCi with a paint job I can not even identify. My wife rides a 2002 Sporty XL1200c (she got a Harley first, I am really picky when searching for a bike.) I was searching for something special and came across this monster and traded my Suzuki VL800 for it and am really happy with the choice.
The bike has V&H true dual exhaust and sounds nice also has the power commander III and an Arlen Ness intake. It also came with some nice Wille G parts, which is great since I plan to use a skull motiff as part of the design. I am wanting to make a modern interpretation of a classic Harley. I want it to feel like I bought a surplus war bike and made it for the street. I plan to mix old and new. The paint job is what set me on this course and I working on the design concept. I can not find another one painted like this one so I have no idea about this paint job. I am hoping some one here can give me some insight into this paint and help me out on some other aspects about it. I am of course including a picture of it. First day i got the bike. I replaced the grips with ISO grips.
