Howdie everyone my name's Frank Steward, I'm currently stationed in Heidelberg, Germany with V CORPS. I picked up my 2007 Road King Classic March 28th and I've racked up 4,200 miles since then. I've been riding for about 12 years up and down the Pacific Coast CA, OR, and WA, Death Valley etc. Call Lake Tahoe home. Since I'm in Germany I've joined the Rhine Neckar Hog Chapter and there's nothing better than breakfast in Heidelberg, lunch in France, and dinner in Brussels. If anyone has been here and knows some good routes I'm all ears.
My old man was stationed in H-berg twice while I was growing up. We lived in Patrick Henry Village. I visited again a few years back when I was stationed in Berlin. Riding through Europe must rock!
Welcome Frank! Thanks for your service. We appreciate it. Idon't know about Germany, but the Sierra Nevadas and Pacific coast have got to be some of the best ridin in the world. Thats just me.[sm=icon_blah.gif][sm=icon_blah.gif][sm=icon_blah.gif]
Great place to ride. I was stationed in Heidleberg for 5 years. Stationed at the hospital. I road a large Honda at the time. Just have to get a map and go for a ride. I got snowed in at Burtchesgarten for about 4 days once. Had a great time. I road everyday until it snowed. I also miss the beer and food. Ride safe and welcome to the forum.
