My name is David and this is my new member introduction. I just purchased, May 15, 2017, my first road bike, and I am already nuts about riding... I think I bought quite a find, and the dealerships I have visited on it have filliped over my little bike. It's a 2003, 100th Anniversary Sportster 1200 Standard (Black). The bike is nearly 15 years old, but the catch is that is was nearly BRAND NEW and without a scratch! I bought it locally for a steal, and the bike only had 127 miles on it. I have been riding it nearly a month and am just now nearing the suggested 500 mile break-in period! I changed all the fluids, went through the carb, added some new whitewalls, switched to tracker bars, relocated my front turn signals, and flipped my mirrors. I'm excited about my Harley and all the places this beautiful bike will take me. I also look forward to the wonderful friendships that will be formed.
