New member. Decided to sacrafice my love for speed for class and comfort. I'm in the process of selling my 05 Haybusa and will be buying an 06 Pearl white fatboy. This will be my 3rd bike in 3 years, every year I go for more comfort for longer trips and it looks like this one will be the stopping point. I've always had an eye on the Fatboys at the rallys and knew one day I'd probably own one. I'm in Texas and 99 percent of the people I ride with have Harleys so I guess I'll blend in with the crowd now. Why I decided to get out of the crotch rockets...well...a friend of mine has a Harley rental until his new 06 softtail classic comes in. I took it out for a spin and loved the rider postion..sounded good too. I did chuckle a bit when I opened it up but I understand these are not build for speed out of the box like the busa's, if I could afford it I'd own them both.
