Hello, I've been riding street bikes for 7 years now, and I just bought my first Harley, a 97 sportster, from a friend. I've had it 3 weeks and I've already put about over 400 miles on it (I'm only home on the weekends, or else it would be more lol)
My first bike 78 Yamaha 650xs followed by a 78 750xs special.
I decided to go Harley because it was a the biggest bike I could afford available in my immediate area, that and I always liked Harleys
I joined the forums because just like on my old Yamahas, I do all work on my bikes myself, and the best place for information are dedicated forums.
I love this Sportser, but PO ripped off all of the turn signals and I've been having issues with the new ones I've bought but I think I'll make a separate post on that Beartooth Pass
