Hey everyone! I'm new to the group. I have a 98 lowrider. Live in mountains of Virginia. Lots of good riding in our area. Was hoping to learn from this site.
The bike when bought was laid over on its way to my house. They dropped it when loading it. Put a small crack in the center of the handle bars, and a small dent in the tank. When the bike dropped the price did too so we jumped on it. My father had taken it for a cruise a few weeks ago (several years later) and when he pulled back in my driveway the handlebars snapped and laid over the gas tank. It's been a learning experience after getting the new bars on. Rewired internally, and have finally gotten everything back on and together. I was curious about the dimples in the bars. With the switch housing against the grips the wires seem to be exposed some.
