I joined the ranks of HD owners in September. I have been riding about 12 years now, on and off a bit. I had always been a Yamaha rider before this bike. I started on a 05 FZ6, Then got a Raider. The Raider is when I started riding in groups and heading out to rallies. Longer rides lead to wanting a bigger bike for the wife and I. Rented a few ultras and a street glide over the last couple years that I didn't own a bike. Finally pulled the trigger, when on my wife's birthday she wanted to go for a ride and there wasn't a rental available (she said "just go buy one!") So we got a 2017 Ultra classic in black. I didn't help me wanting to wait, that in that september my dad got a 98 limited (after not owning one since the 70s) my brother got a 17 street and my work buddy got a 14 street custom. We have a few rides for 18 planned and I cant want to put real miles on her. I just did my break-in service. and as soon as the snow and Ice get out of here, I'll be kickstands up.
