Hi all. Never thought I'd own a HD, always been a foreign car/foreign bike guy. I have an 04 Triumph Thunderbird sport and a 2016 R1150RT. Well there was this used XR1200 in my local Hondakawiyama dealer for the longest time...calling me everytime I went in. I got that about a year ago and love it. Recently I wanted to add a bike and was thinking Vintage Japanese- then retro new Japanese, then Ural (?!?) I appreciate every kind of motorcycle, anyway, a friend had his 2009 Heritage at the Harley dealer in Utica NY...nice...THEN I saw a 2014 Moroccan Gold Pearl Heritage wow...long short- I have a 2014 Heritage (FLSTC) in my garage!!
So-the guy who would never own a Harley now has two- and loves 'em.
Just turned 71 , started riding later in life (late 50's- MY fifties, not THE 50's) and I'm living the dream. This looks like a decent forum...so Hi from upstate NY and I'm glad to be here.
