New old guy from WA
Hey all. I have been lurking for a while and feel I need to finally say hi from Olympia, Washington. I have dreamed of owning a harley since my young teenage years. My first road bike was A Honda shadow - I referenced it as my "practice" bike. I did finally get my dream bike in 2001. It started its life as a 1999 Night Train. By 2010 it now looks more like a custom chopper with more mods than I can list. Still love the bike; but, with age comes the longing for comfort. I spent many hours looking at the touring lineup over a couple years trying figure out if a bagger was "my style" and trying to convince myself it was what I had to settle on to get my comfort. Then I stumbled upon the new 2017 CVO Street Glide. Found one in my most favorite color - cobalt blue. Scheduled the test ride. WOW, no settling here, more power, more comfort, more options. Upon the return from the test ride, I could not stop smiling. My wife noticed the enjoyment on my face and said "honey, you deserve this, you should just get it". I have not stopped smiling since. Life is good! Baggers are now my style. Hello To all and happy riding.
