Introduction
Hi,
I decided to become a member of this forum, because what I have read here seemed to be a genuine comrade to help, and pass on knowledge to one another. An I like the friendly bantering too.
I ride a 2014 FLHTCU, but have not rode in 1.8 years...now been getting the help needed this last year from the VA. The thing that help me through was the goal to ride again some day. I was forced to retire early for medical reasons, considered it a blessing and a pain. A pain, because can't drive or ride. An a blessing, because I have the opportunity to plan were to ride here in Oklahoma. Start with small local trips, then work to state boundaries and to other states. Depends on my new physical norm, this may be what stops me from riding long distance. I hope not the case, cause I really enjoy riding. I consider myself a lone wolf, but do like to meet up with fellow riders now and then to cruise the backroads to unknown destinations. The old adage, "Wind therapy and a full tank of gas, can cure what ailing you"...well I do believe in this just have to get there first.
Thanks,
