I just bought my first HD two days ago. I got a ‘06 Street Bob and I’m loving it! I have to say I am extremely impressed with the torque and power of the thing. I grew up riding dirt bikes then had sport bike for a bit so getting used to the size and style of riding my Harley is taking some getting used to. I found the forum while looking for mid controls. My bike has forward controls and while they are comfortable I just don’t feel like I have as much control. Anyway, I’m happy to be here and look forward to learning as much as I can about my dyna. Have a good one!

Welcome from New Scotland.(Nova Scotia). I’m sure you’ll like the new machine. Totally different riding than what you’ve been use to but you’ll appreciate it on the longer trips. I spend a lot of time on my bike travelling to your area. I’m usually at bike week every June in Laconia. This year I’m planning on going to Americade in Lake George NY first, then to Laconia. And a stop at Bentley’s in a Maine on my way home.
Anyway, enjoy the ride.
