Hello from west Michigan
My dad has had cancer twice. He is in good health now, but I couldn't get over this feeling like he may not be in good health for that many more years. He has always wanted a Harley. I remember him talking about it when I was very young. But you know how life happens sometimes and he's never owned one. I purchased him a very nice looking 1200 Sportster Nightster a couple weeks ago and even paid for the insurance for the next year so he had nothing to think about other than getting on and having fun. I'm so thankful to be in a position in life that I could do something like that for a family member. He absolutely adores it. His wife texted me and says he has ridden it every day.
Well... In the 3 days it was at my house before I surprised him with it, I rode it quite a bit also. And I also enjoyed it very much. So I just found a 2013 1200 Sporty for $1,500. It needs 2 blinkers, a shifter peg, and the gas tank painted. It had been sitting in a barn for a few years. But I got it fired up without much effort. I have some parts on order and looking forward to getting this thing road worthy!

You are in the “New Members Area” where you can introduce yourself and let us know what Harley Davidson bike(s) (if any) you ride/own.
If you have questions about engines, exhaust systems, audio issues, etc… then:
1) Please go to the upper corner and Roll Over “Forums”
2) Then come down to and Roll Over “Harley Davidson Tech & Mechanical Forum”
3) Then come down to the section that would be most appropriate for your question like Audio Systems, Engine Mechanical Topics, Exhaust System Topics, etc… and CLICK on the topic you have a question about.
You will find the knowledge here is EXCELLENT and these here mates are willing to help you in any way they can. ‘juss be careful. There are some “Trolls”, so I suggest just ignoring them ‘ole farts.
