got an old '76 Ironhead, had it since '92. Frame's stretched 4", been bored .030 (that was an accident), it's running an S&S stroker & carb, TRW 8-1 slugs, Andrews gears, Sifton cams, Karata belt primary, and some cheap drag pipes. She runs hard & shakey--but she needs some more stroker-friendly cams, the Sifton's are a drag grind (another mistake) that come on HARD at 5 g's, and--well, I HAVE tested the waters a couple times, but I really don't want to be picking up pieces of block & rods off the road anytime soon! The bike has been pretty much the same now for 8 years, and I really want a new front end and some horribly outrageous pipes ASAP, maybe a winter project...
Here she be! (and no laughing at my seat, the nicer Mustang -see avatar- is going on shortly!)
hi ironhead,
welcome here and hope you enjoy the place. thanks for the pic, nice looking bike and it sounds like you've done alot with it. nice looking seat too...lol... stay safe
