Default New Guy in NC Intro
Hello all........On my 5th Harley, 08 Road King Classic, came here for the Dreaded Compensator Issue fix after being Towed home....yes Towed.......after third starter clutch failed for continued compensator kickback and grinding at a gas station in the boon docks with no one to help push start it. Ordered $1490 in parts(Inner & Outer Gasket Kit, Spectro Primary OIl, Baker Comp, manual adjuster, and all ***** HD starter since that HD one has been put through hell, clutch pack is dead and probably needs solenoid & brush kit soon anyway) and about to tackle the job at an NC beach house with a sand yard in a concrete block shed small enough to allow access to one side at a time!
