Default Limp mode or dead throttle problems

I have 14 street glide. I was riding home for work and I lost throttle. Got pulled over to the side and pulled codes. All codes saying tgs throttle grip sensor. Throttle was in and out enough to get bike home. Replaced throttle sensor with a new one. When I did so I damage the green plug so I cut it off and hard wired it. Now got same problem no throttle. Will the green plug make a difference is that why I still got same problem.

Wow TB, you are asking us questions and we did not even say hello 1st. What gives mate? No kiss? Nuth'n?TB my friend, this “Welcome Area Only” section is for, well, welcoming only. Like, introducing yourself and what Harley (hopefully Harley) you ride.

Stuff you are talking about up above in your OP (Original Post), needs to go to the proper and more relevant area to get our rider’s input.

In the UPPER LEFT corner, just take your mouse and ROLL OVER “Forums” and come down to the section (or subsection) that you feel is most appropriate. It is that easy.

Thank you my friend for understanding.

It is GREAT to have you here with us.
Warmly & Respectfully,

BuzzCap7

Welcome to the forum.

My guess is you received a bad sensor from H-D. Hardwiring it should not make any difference as long as your connections are good. Did you try clearing your codes?

i didn’t think so. Because the old one was hard wired. Yes cleared codes and they keep coming back.
